Synopsis

Jennifer Saint's 'Elektra' masterfully reweaves the ancient tapestry of the House of Atreus through the eyes of three formidable women bound by fate and a devastating curse. Clytemnestra, queen of Mycenae, endures unspeakable betrayal at the hands of her husband, King Agamemnon, on the eve of the Trojan War, setting her on a path of vengeance that will echo through generations. In besieged Troy, Princess Cassandra, cursed with prophecies no one believes, foresees the city's destruction and her own tragic end at the hands of the Greeks, powerless to alter the inevitable. Meanwhile, Elektra, Clytemnestra and Agamemnon’s youngest daughter, yearns for her father's return, unaware of the bloody inheritance awaiting her. As the war concludes, the characters' lives collide in a whirlwind of retribution and sacrifice, forcing Elektra to confront the violent legacy of her family and question if she can ever truly escape the cycle of bloodshed.
