In a vibrant, dangerous Mexico City, a unique vampire narrative unfolds. Atl, a jaded, ancient descendant of Aztec blood drinkers, finds herself on the run, hunted by a rival narco-vampire clan. Her survival hinges on escaping to South America, a plan that certainly doesn't involve Domingo, a charming, lonely garbage collector who is instantly smitten by her. Atl, accustomed to a life of solitude with only her Doberman for companionship, initially views Domingo as merely a convenient resource, perhaps even a potential meal. However, as the ruthless pursuit intensifies and their paths become irrevocably entwined, a reluctant bond forms between the ancient predator and the streetwise human.
