Synopsis

LAPD K-9 Officer Scott James is a man shattered. Nine months prior, a brutal, unidentified assault claimed the life of his partner, Stephanie, and left him severely wounded, wracked with guilt, and consumed by a furious desire for vengeance. Deemed unfit for duty, his life spirals until he’s introduced to his new partner: Maggie. Maggie, a German Shepherd, is equally damaged. Having bravely served two tours in Afghanistan sniffing out explosives, she lost her handler and now battles her own profound PTSD. Together, this unlikely pair—two broken souls seeking redemption—become each other's last chance. As they slowly forge an unbreakable bond, Scott and Maggie are drawn into the very case no one wants them to touch: unraveling the mystery behind Stephanie's murder. Their relentless pursuit of truth plunges them into a dangerous underworld, where uncovering the identities of her killers could expose a conspiracy that might ultimately destroy them both.
