Synopsis

Louisa Clark, an ordinary woman with a mundane life and a steady boyfriend, finds her world turned upside down when she takes a job caring for Will Traynor. Will, once an adventurous and successful businessman, is now a quadriplegic after a devastating accident, his vibrant spirit replaced by acerbic wit and a profound sense of despair. Initially clashing, Lou's bright, unconventional personality gradually chips away at Will's hardened exterior, and an unexpected connection blossoms between them. However, Lou soon discovers Will's deeply personal and irreversible plan to end his life. Determined to show him that life is still worth living, she embarks on a mission to reignite his love for the world, leading them on a series of adventures that challenge their perspectives on life, love, and what it truly means to be happy. Their journey becomes a poignant exploration of choices, sacrifice, and the heartbreaking truth that loving someone sometimes means accepting their most difficult decisions, even if it breaks your own heart.
