Synopsis

In "The City of Mirrors," the cataclysmic conclusion to Justin Cronin's Passage trilogy, humanity grapples with the aftermath of a century of darkness. The viral apocalypse has waned, and the survivors, emerging from their walled enclaves, are determined to rebuild society and embrace a hopeful future. Yet, a final, existential threat looms: Zero, the First, the progenitor of the virals, waits in the ruins of a dead metropolis. Tormented by the anguish of his human past and fueled by an unyielding hatred, Zero seeks ultimate vengeance, particularly against Amy—the enigmatic 'Girl from Nowhere' who has become humanity's last hope. The stage is set for a monumental confrontation where light and dark will clash one last time, forcing Amy and her companions to face their ultimate destiny and determine the fate of the world.
