Synopsis

Reece Gilmore, a chef haunted by the trauma of surviving a mass shooting, seeks refuge and a fresh start in the tranquil, remote town of Angel's Fall, Wyoming. While hiking on the picturesque mountain trails, she witnesses what appears to be a brutal murder. Yet, her already fragile mental state, coupled with a lack of concrete evidence and the authorities' skepticism, leads them to dismiss her account as a stress-induced hallucination. Isolated and disbelieved, Reece finds an unlikely ally in Brody, a reclusive, cynical writer who lives nearby and senses the genuine fear and conviction in her story. As she fights to prove her sanity and uncover the truth, Reece realizes the killer knows she saw something. With danger closing in and the community questioning her every move, she must trust her instincts and the burgeoning connection with Brody to expose a deadly conspiracy before the beautiful mountain landscape becomes her final resting place.
