Synopsis

Dr. Nell MacDermott, a renowned forensic psychologist and true-crime television host, finds her carefully constructed life crumbling when a series of seemingly unrelated disappearances and murders across the country begin to echo a dark chapter from her own past. The victims are all young, attractive women, and as Nell delves deeper, a terrifying pattern emerges, suggesting a single, meticulous predator is at work. What makes the case uniquely chilling for Nell is her dawning, horrifying suspicion that the perpetrator might be someone intimately connected to her, perhaps even someone she believes she knows and trusts. With each new discovery, the line between her professional expertise and personal dread blurs, pushing her to confront not only a cunning killer but also the buried traumas that haunt her. As Nell races against time to unmask the identity of this shadowy figure, she realizes the hunter may very well become the hunted, placing her own life in grave peril in a high-stakes pursuit of truth and justice.
