Synopsis

Harriet Kilpatrick, a brilliant surgical resident, and her ex-fiancé, Wyn Connor, find themselves in a peculiar predicament during their annual summer getaway to a charming Maine cottage with their closest friends, Sabrina and Cleo. Six months prior, Harriet and Wyn secretly called off their engagement, but in a misguided attempt to preserve the cherished tradition and the ‘happy place’ they all share, they’ve decided to fake their relationship for the duration of the trip. Trapped in a house with their best friends, who are themselves navigating their own life-altering decisions, Harriet and Wyn are forced into close proximity, re-igniting old sparks and confronting the unresolved issues that led to their breakup. As the last summer at the beloved cottage unfolds, secrets threaten to unravel, and they must decide if their 'happy place' is a shared past they can reclaim or a future they need to redefine, both together and apart.
