Synopsis

In a cosmos where ancient Gods meddle with mortal affairs, the Vadhagh Prince Corum Jhaelen Irsei's world is shattered by the brutal, genocidal Mabden. His family and entire race are annihilated, and Corum himself is grotesquely mutilated. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for vengeance, he makes a desperate pact with the treacherous sorcerer Shool, exchanging a lien on his very soul for the legendary artifacts: the Eye of Rhynn and the Hand of Kwll. Thus armed, Corum embarks on a perilous crusade against the Sword Rulers, the formidable Lords of Chaos who manipulate mankind and threaten the balance of the multiverse. His immediate target is the vile Arioch, Knight of the Swords and master of five planes of reality. Corum's singular, grim objective is to rip the heart from Arioch, beginning a saga of cosmic warfare, sacrifice, and the eternal struggle between Law and Chaos that defines Moorcock's Eternal Champion mythos.
