Synopsis

The end is nigh, or so it seems according to Agnes Nutter's “Nice and Accurate Prophecies.” Armageddon is scheduled for next Saturday, and the forces of Heaven and Hell are meticulously preparing for the final battle. However, not everyone is thrilled about the impending apocalypse. Aziraphale, a somewhat fussy angel, and Crowley, a fast-living demon, have grown rather fond of their comfortable lives among humanity over the past six millennia. Having developed an unlikely friendship, they decide to covertly team up and prevent the world's destruction. Their plan involves finding and influencing the Antichrist to avert the Divine Plan. There's just one crucial problem: the Antichrist, who was meant to be raised as the son of an American diplomat, has been accidentally misplaced at birth, leading to a hilarious and frantic search as the true heir to Satan grows up unknowingly in an idyllic English village. As the world careens towards its fated end, Aziraphale and Crowley must race against time to locate the boy, navigate celestial and infernal bureaucracies, and ultimately save humanity from its own destiny.
