Synopsis

In a world scarred by ancient conflicts and the vanished Kiriath, humanity faces a resurgent threat: the Ilwrack Changeling. Once a boy, now a formidable entity raised in the ethereal Gray Places, his awakening signals the return of the dreaded Aldrain and their dark magic. A Kiriath machine, fallen from orbit, carries a grim warning, entrusting humankind's survival to the seasoned warrior Ringil Eskiath. Known for his brutal pragmatism and haunted past, Ringil, alongside his few trusted allies, must embark on a perilous, desperate journey. Their mission: to preemptively strike against the Changeling before he can fully rouse the Aldrain. This quest for redemption is fraught with danger, demanding immense sacrifice, as they confront not only external evils but also their own inner demons in a world teetering on the brink of utter devastation. Survival, they quickly learn, is a commodity more precious and costly than any treasure.
