The Eye of the World

Synopsis

In the quiet, sheltered village of Emond's Field, life is simple and predictable for Rand al'Thor, Mat Cauthon, and Perrin Aybara. But the arrival of a mysterious Aes Sedai, Moiraine Damodred, and her Warder, Lan, shatters their peace. Soon after, a terrifying Trolloc attack, led by a Myrddraal, forces the three young men, along with Egwene al'Vere and Nynaeve al'Meara, to flee their homes. They embark on a perilous journey across a world teetering on the brink of a new Shadow-spawned conflict. As they travel, they learn of ancient prophecies, forgotten powers, and a looming evil that seeks to corrupt the very fabric of existence. The Eye of the World introduces readers to a richly detailed epic fantasy setting, where destiny intertwines with courage, and ordinary lives are thrust into an extraordinary fight against the encroaching darkness, hinting at a much larger tapestry of conflict and heroism.
