The Terrible Tourist

Synopsis

Agatha Raisin, fresh from the dramatic (and thankfully fatal) reappearance of her ex-husband, finds her long-awaited romantic getaway to Cyprus with ex-fiancé James Lacey taking a disastrous turn. Instead of a blissful honeymoon, they stumble upon the murder of a deeply unpopular tourist, plunging their Mediterranean idyll into chaos. Surrounded by a motley crew of "terrible tourists," Agatha's sharp instincts for crime-solving are immediately piqued, much to James's exasperation. As she delves into the murky waters of the case, Agatha uncovers a web of secrets and suspects, only to discover that the killer has now set their sights on her. Juggling a perilous investigation, the attempt to salvage her relationship with James, and fending off the advances of a charming baronet—all under the unyielding Cypriot sun that demands constant swimwear—Agatha must confront danger head-on to bring the culprit to justice before she becomes the next victim.
