Synopsis

Dr. Jane Darlington is a certified genius with a single, unconventional goal: to have a baby with a man who possesses superior physical traits but is, by all measures, intellectually inferior. Her theory? Her dominant genius genes will ensure her child inherits her brainpower, while the 'donor' provides the brawn. Her target is Cal Bonner, a rugged, devilishly handsome football star whose public persona suggests he's the perfect, uncomplicated specimen for her experiment. Jane approaches Cal with her bizarre proposition, expecting him to be easily manipulated. However, Cal Bonner is far more intelligent, perceptive, and complex than Jane's academic observations suggest. What begins as a scientific endeavor quickly devolves into a hilarious and heartwarming battle of wits and wills, as Jane's carefully constructed world of logic clashes with Cal's genuine charm and unexpected depth, forcing her to confront her own prejudices about love and intelligence.
