The Hostile Hospital

Synopsis

Following the tragic fire at Prufrock Preparatory School, the Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, find themselves once again on the run from the notorious Count Olaf. Seeking refuge and employment, they stumble upon the Heimlich Hospital, a massive and disorienting medical facility. Posing as volunteers under ridiculous disguises, the siblings hope to find safety and, perhaps, the missing Baudelaire document known as the Snicket File. However, their respite is short-lived as they quickly discover the hospital is far from a sanctuary. With misleading newspaper headlines, the threat of unnecessary surgery, a convoluted intercom system, and the ever-present danger of Count Olaf and his conniving associates, the children face some of their most harrowing challenges yet. They must navigate the labyrinthine corridors, decipher cryptic messages, and avoid capture, all while confronting a shocking revelation about a past fire that could change everything they thought they knew.

Critical Reception
