Synopsis

Kate Love, an ambitious and fiercely independent reporter, embarks on a perilous investigation to expose a swindler preying on vulnerable elderly Black communities. Her dangerous pursuit leads her directly into harm's way, from which she is dramatically rescued by Dix Wildhorse, a formidable Black Seminole Marshal dispatched by her concerned father from Oklahoma's Indian country. Forced to flee with this imposing, bronzed hero, Kate’s resolve to maintain her independence immediately clashes with Dix's protective nature. Despite the undeniable, simmering passion ignited between them and the powerful allure of Dix's muscled embrace, Kate challenges him at every turn. As their battle of wills intensifies, so too does the inferno of their passion, blazing with unmatched fury. Their shared journey is a thrilling blend of danger, adventure, and burgeoning desire, as they confront both external threats and the untamed connection that binds them, promising a wildfire of love destined to culminate in the sweet ecstasy of surrender.
