Synopsis

In Stuart MacBride's chilling 'All That's Dead,' Detective Sergeant Logan McRae finds himself sidelined in Aberdeen's 'cold case' unit, longing for the days of active investigation. His wish is granted with a brutal jolt when a series of seemingly unrelated deaths begin to plague the city. A respected Sturgeon farmer is found dead, initially deemed a suicide, but then a succession of increasingly gruesome and inexplicable fatalities follows. Pulled back into the frontline of a high-stakes murder inquiry, McRae uncovers a meticulously orchestrated pattern of violence that points to a cunning and sadistic serial killer. As the body count rises and the pressure mounts from both superiors and the public, Logan must navigate the murky depths of forgotten secrets and dark motives, racing against time to unmask a killer whose twisted agenda threatens to consume the Granite City.
