Synopsis

In a near-future Manchester, the city is captivated and increasingly controlled by "Domino Bones," a ubiquitous new lottery game. Every Friday, the city grinds to a halt as citizens eagerly watch for the winning combination of tumbling bones. However, beneath the intoxicating promise of wealth, a sinister plot unfolds. The corporation behind the game, DataGen, isn't just selling dreams; it's meticulously harvesting and manipulating the collective subconscious of Manchester. As the game's influence permeates every aspect of daily life, citizens find their aspirations and even their very identities subtly reshaped. A small, disparate band of university students, noticing the city's descent into a dream-like stupor, uncovers DataGen's insidious agenda. They must race against time to decode the game's complex algorithms and psychological traps, aiming to dismantle its hold before Manchester's collective will is permanently subsumed, transforming the vibrant city into a docile, programmable entity.
