Synopsis

Shipwrecked on the shores of Illyria, the resourceful Viola believes her twin brother, Sebastian, lost at sea. To survive, she disguises herself as a young man named Cesario and enters the service of Duke Orsino. Orsino is deeply infatuated with the mourning Countess Olivia and enlists Cesario to woo her on his behalf. However, Olivia, believing Cesario to be a handsome young man, quickly falls in love with him, creating a perplexing love triangle. Unbeknownst to them, Viola herself has fallen for Duke Orsino. This intricate web of mistaken identities, unrequited affections, and gender role reversals culminates in a series of comedic misunderstandings and heartfelt revelations.
