Scot Harvath, America's top spy, finds himself at a personal crossroads while enjoying a well-deserved vacation in Norway with his girlfriend, Sølvi. Torn between returning to active duty or resigning to embrace a quieter life, his decision is abruptly taken out of his hands when his deadly past resurfaces in an impossible form. While in Oslo, Harvath witnesses a man he had previously killed reappear, alive and well, raising disturbing questions about his true identity and purpose. This shocking encounter propels Harvath into a high-stakes, perilous mission that stretches from the picturesque Norwegian fjords to the desolate, icy reaches above the Arctic Circle. He must confront unimaginable challenges and push his limits to the absolute extreme. The success of his mission is paramount, as failure would leave the United States and its allies vulnerable to one of the world's most dangerous adversaries, making his personal choice insignificant in the face of global catastrophe.
