Synopsis

Haunted by a past he desperately tries to outrun, Nomad, also known as Sigzil from his former life, finds himself a perpetual fugitive from the relentless Night Brigade. His journey through the vast Cosmere, skipping between worlds, is abruptly halted when his powers fail, stranding him on the deadly planet Canticle. Here, survival is a constant race against a sun that incinerates anything in its path, forcing inhabitants into ceaseless motion. Nomad is thrust into a desperate struggle between a ruthless tyrant and a band of courageous rebels. Failure on Canticle means an agonizing death by fire or a fate worse than death: mindless slavery. Tormented by the ghosts of his own choices, Nomad must confront not only the immediate threat to his life but also the profound battle for his very soul. This standalone Cosmere adventure masterfully blends epic fantasy with thrilling science fiction.
