Synopsis

In a secluded lake house, Jessie Burlingame finds herself in a terrifying predicament after a kinky game with her husband, Gerald, goes horribly wrong. Handcuffed to the bedposts, Jessie is left utterly alone and helpless when Gerald unexpectedly dies of a heart attack. Miles from civilization, with no one to hear her cries, she must confront not only the physical challenges of her confinement—thirst, hunger, and a scavenging stray dog—but also the relentless, chilling voices in her head. As day turns to night, and a dark, malevolent presence seems to materialize in the shadows, Jessie is forced to confront long-suppressed childhood traumas and her own complicity in a lifetime of psychological bondage. Her fight for survival becomes a harrowing journey into the darkest corners of her mind, blurring the lines between reality and hallucination, sanity and madness.
