In a world where parallel Londons exist, Kell is one of the last remaining Antari, a rare breed of magicians capable of traveling between these diverse realities. There's Grey London, dull and magic-less, where the populace believes in only one world; Red London, vibrant with magic and life, Kell's home; and White London, a brutal, dying world consumed by power struggles. Long ago, there was also Black London, devoured by its own magic. Kell's primary duty is to deliver messages between the remaining Londons, but he secretly dabbles in smuggling magical artifacts, a dangerous hobby that leads him to encounter Delilah Bard, a quick-witted, ambitious thief from Grey London. Their paths intertwine when a perilous black stone, an ancient relic from Black London, falls into their hands. This artifact possesses immense, destructive power, threatening to unravel the delicate balance between the worlds. Together, Kell and Lila must navigate treacherous landscapes, evade formidable enemies, and confront the darkest corners of magic to prevent a catastrophe that could consume all Londons.
