Synopsis

In the perilous year of 1941, Jean Casson, a man haunted by a past entangled with intelligence and betrayal, returns to German-occupied Paris, an underground world starkly different from the glamorous film circles he once inhabited. Now a reluctant spy, wanted by the Gestapo, Casson adopts a new identity, navigating the shadowy backstreets and seedy hotels of Pigalle, far from the elegant boulevards of his former life. Survival means shedding his old persona and embracing the clandestine. Yet, as the war tightens its grip, the magnetic pull of resistance and sabotage proves too strong to resist. Casson finds himself inexorably drawn back into the dangerous game, risking everything to play a pivotal role in the struggle against the occupation, where every choice is fraught with peril and loyalty is a fleeting commodity in a city under siege.
