Synopsis

After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, her sole purpose to reunite with her four-year-old daughter, Diem. However, the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in Diem's life, particularly Scotty's grieving parents, is determined to shut Kenna out, unwilling to forgive her for the accident that claimed their son's life and landed Kenna behind bars. As Kenna navigates their hostility and her own overwhelming guilt, she finds an unexpected ally in Ledger Ward, a local bar owner who was also close to Scotty. Despite the loyalty he feels to Scotty's family, Ledger is drawn to Kenna and the genuine pain beneath her tough exterior. Their burgeoning connection is complicated by the town's judgment and the deep-seated grief of the past, forcing them to confront what it truly means to forgive, to love, and to fight for a second chance amidst an impossible situation.
