Synopsis

Jack Winter believed he had escaped the unspeakable horror of his childhood, fleeing his rural Georgia home as a boy with nothing but the clothes on his back and a desperate need to outrun a lurking evil. Years later, he's built a serene life with his wife, Aimee, and their two young children, confident his past is buried. However, a violent car crash shatters their idyllic world, revealing a sinister truth: the malevolent force Jack fled has never truly left him. What initially appears to be a miracle of survival quickly devolves into a chilling reality when Jack recognizes the familiar, profound evil from his past. It's back, more ravenous than ever, intent on tormenting his family, particularly his youngest daughter, as a twisted form of retribution for his escape. As the insidious entity whispers its chilling promise – 'I've always been here, and I'll never leave' – Jack must confront the deeply rooted terror that has haunted him his entire life, facing a demon that has patiently waited to claim its due.
