Synopsis

Mickey Gibson, a single mother and former detective, balances her family life with a remote job for ProEye, a global investigation firm targeting wealthy fraudsters. Her routine is shattered when a colleague, 'Arlene Robinson,' asks her to inventory a vacant mansion tied to a tax cheat. Upon arrival, Mickey discovers a dead body in a hidden room, igniting a shocking conspiracy. The arms dealer linked to the house doesn't exist, the victim is Harry Langhorne, a man with mob ties and a past in Witness Protection, and 'Arlene Robinson' is nowhere to be found in ProEye's records. Framed for murder, Mickey finds her career and freedom in jeopardy, forcing her to untangle a complex web of lies. She is thrust into a perilous battle of wits against a brilliant, anonymous woman whose dark past and deadly motives remain shrouded in mystery, leading to a high-stakes game of cat and mouse where the truth is as elusive as survival.
