Synopsis

Eighty years after Earth's cataclysmic destruction by a mysterious alien race known as the Architects, humanity struggles to rebuild amidst a scarred galaxy. Among the survivors is Idris, an 'Unspace-Modified' human, a product of desperate wartime science that granted him the ability to communicate with the Architects. Though instrumental in ending the conflict when the Architects inexplicably vanished, Idris and his kind are now obsolete, living in the shadows. He scrapes by as a freelance salvager, haunted by his past and the constant hum of his enhanced mind. His precarious existence is shattered when his crew discovers an abandoned vessel bearing unmistakable signs of Architect engineering. This discovery not only suggests their return but also thrusts Idris and his shipmates into a perilous intergalactic chase. Hunted by powerful factions, including ruthless gangsters, fanatic cults, and suspicious governments, they must race across the stars to uncover the truth behind the Architects' disappearance and their potential resurgence, all while possessing an artifact of unimaginable value that countless entities are willing to kill for.
