Synopsis

In a future dominated by the sprawling empire of Simeon Krug, a self-made titan akin to a modern-day Bill Gates, society is built upon the labor of genetically engineered androids. Krug, having amassed unimaginable wealth, embarks on his most audacious project yet: constructing a mile-high tower in the Arctic to communicate with mysterious alien signals from an uninhabitable world. Meanwhile, the very androids who fuel his empire are stirring, divided between fervent religious devotion to Krug, their creator, and a growing demand for civil equality through political action. As the tower rises, so do the tensions, threatening to unravel Krug's meticulously crafted world. His own son, Manuel, grapples with the immense pressure of his lineage, reluctant to embrace the controversial legacy of his father. "Tower of Glass" delves deep into themes of creation, exploitation, civil rights, and humanity's place in the cosmos, questioning the very definition of sentience and freedom.
