Synopsis

Mary Kubica's "Local Woman Missing" delves into the dark underbelly of a suburban community shattered by a series of inexplicable disappearances. The tranquility is first disturbed by the vanishing of Shelby Tebow. Soon after, Meredith Dickey and her six-year-old daughter, Delilah, disappear just a few blocks from where Shelby was last seen, sending a ripple of fear through the once-peaceful neighborhood. An extensive but fruitless search leaves more questions than answers, and the cold cases become a haunting specter over the town. Eleven years later, the impossible occurs: Delilah, now a young woman, miraculously returns. Her reappearance ignites a desperate quest for truth, as the community and investigators alike seek to uncover the events of her missing decade and the fates of Shelby and Meredith. However, the secrets Delilah holds are far more sinister and unsettling than anyone imagined, promising to expose the terrifying lengths some people will go to keep the truth buried.
