Synopsis

Driven by his asthmatic daughter's suffering in the polluted city, Theodore Constantine moves his family to the seemingly idyllic farming village of Cornwall Coombe, New England. This picturesque haven, with its charming nineteenth-century homes and close-knit community, promises a life of simplicity and purity. However, their new beginning soon unravels into a terrifying ordeal. After gaining the trust of the town's enigmatic matriarch, Widow Fortune, the Constantines are invited to partake in the ancient festival of Harvest Home. Beneath the quaint facade of tradition and rural charm, Theodore uncovers dark intentions and sinister secrets. The villagers, many sharing the same surname, harbor a chilling past that outsiders cannot fathom, hinting at a pagan undercurrent far more sinister than the annual harvest. As the festival draws near, the family realizes that the bucolic hamlet holds a malevolent force, making their escape from the city seem like a journey into a deeper, more primal horror.

Critical Reception
