The Technicolor Time Machine

Synopsis

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and for Barney Hendrickson, producer at the failing Climactic Studios, a miraculous time machine is the last, bizarre hope. With the studio on the brink of collapse, Barney is given five frantic days to produce a blockbuster. His solution? To travel back to 1000 AD with Professor Hewett's groundbreaking invention, a full film crew, and two glamorous stars, all to film the epic, and historically disputed, Viking discovery of America. Their grand vision: 'Viking Columbus,' shot live in glorious Technicolor. However, history, as it turns out, is far less cooperative than a Hollywood script. Upon arriving in the past, the crew quickly discovers that their carefully planned historical event isn't unfolding as expected, with their 'Viking Columbus' nowhere to be found. What ensues is a comedic, chaotic struggle against historical accuracy, anachronisms, and the relentless pressure of a looming deadline, as they try to both record and, perhaps, inadvertently create history.
