Synopsis

Daisy Minor, a thirty-four-year-old small-town librarian, finds her life profoundly unexciting and devoid of romance. Living with her widowed mother and spinster aunt, she realizes her existence is as dull as her wardrobe. Determined to change her fate, Daisy undergoes a dramatic makeover, transforming herself from a plain wallflower into a vibrant 'party girl.' She sheds her inhibitions, embraces nightlife, and embarks on a quest for adventure and connection. With a new apartment and a newfound confidence, she declares it 'open season' for man-hunting. However, her exciting new life takes a terrifying turn when she accidentally witnesses a crime late one night. Suddenly, Daisy becomes the primary target of a ruthless killer, forcing her man-hunt to an abrupt halt. Paradoxically, it's during this perilous time, when she stops actively searching, that she might just find the passionate love she's always yearned for – a love that will compel a man not just to share her life, but to save it.
