However, their peaceful existence is shattered when the neighboring patriarchal civilization of Valedon, driven by resource acquisition and expansionist ambitions, turns its attention to Shora. Valedon dispatches an army, initiating a profound clash of ideologies and survival. The narrative follows Umi, a young Sharer, and Spinel, a human envoy from Valedon grappling with his own society's aggression, as they navigate the escalating conflict.
