Mistress of the Catacombs

In a world teetering on the brink, Prince Garric of Haft has, for the first time in a millennium, united the Kingdom of the Isles under a stable government. Yet, his reign is immediately challenged by a confluence of devastating threats. Rebellious factions in the West, wielding powerful magic, aim to dismantle his nascent kingdom from within, their numbers far exceeding the royal army. However, these human conflicts pale in comparison to the ancient horrors stirring on the fringes of the Isles. Non-human wizards command monstrous reptilian and insectoid armies, creatures from forgotten ages, marching relentlessly towards the kingdom. These entities view humanity as mere pawns or fodder in a titanic struggle, their advance promising a wave of destruction akin to a flood of lava. Garric, a man seemingly displaced from his own time, must forge unlikely alliances to defend his realm against these unfathomable dangers.
