The Swords of Night and Day

In the war-torn Drenai lands, the legend of Skilgannon the Damned and Druss the Legend endures a millennium after their deaths, revered heroes against an encroaching darkness. Now, as the malevolent sorceress known as the Eternal threatens to drown the Drenai heartlands in blood, an ancient prophecy foretelling Skilgannon’s return offers a glimmer of hope. Driven by this prophecy, the mystic Landis Kan painstakingly resurrects Skilgannon from his ancient tomb. However, the reborn hero is a shadow of his former self—a young man with fragmented memories and dulled warrior skills, disoriented in a world a thousand years removed from his own. To compound his challenge, Kan's other experiments on bone fragments from the tomb yield a colossal, surly giant, equally bereft of memories but possessing astounding strength. While Kan dismisses the giant as a dangerous failure, Skilgannon sees him as their last desperate chance. As the ageless evil looms, these two legendary figures, one diminished and one reborn into a strange new form, must once again rise to lead the Drenai to freedom against overwhelming odds.
