La Belle Sauvage

Synopsis

In a world on the brink of an oppressive regime, young Malcolm Polstead lives an unassuming life at his parents' Oxford inn, happily navigating the river with his daemon, Asta, in their canoe, La Belle Sauvage. He soon finds himself entrusted with a sacred duty: protecting an infant named Lyra Belacqua, a child of immense importance pursued by sinister forces, including the powerful Magisterium and its shadowy agents. Malcolm, alongside Lyra, is thrust into a desperate, magical journey across a submerged landscape.
