The Crimson Campaign

Synopsis

In the gripping continuation of the Powder Mage trilogy, "The Crimson Campaign" thrusts its characters into a crucible of war and survival. Field Marshal Tamas, once the victor, now finds himself in a desperate retreat after his invasion of Kez ends in disaster. Stranded behind enemy lines, he must lead his depleted forces on a perilous journey through hostile territory, hounded by the enemy's finest, to find safety. Back in Adro, Inspector Adamat's personal quest to rescue his kidnapped wife leads him down a dark path, confronting the enigmatic Lord Vetus and uncovering a truth far more sinister than he could have imagined. Meanwhile, Tamas's son, Taniel, believed to be the only Powder Mage left, faces an existential threat. The vengeful god Kremsimir, whom Taniel famously shot in the eye, has returned, leading an invading army. With his father presumed dead, Taniel must rally the remaining forces and confront the enraged deity, becoming Adro's last hope against divine wrath and total annihilation in a world where gunpowder and magic collide with devastating force.
