Synopsis

Federal Investigator Aaron Falk finds himself embroiled in a perplexing mystery during a supposed vacation in Southern Australian wine country. He's there for a friend's baby's christening, which coincides with the one-year anniversary of Kim Gillespie's baffling disappearance. A year prior, at a bustling town festival, Kim vanished without a trace after placing her sleeping infant in a stroller. When Kim's elder daughter makes a public plea for information, Falk and his old colleague Raco are drawn into the cold case. As Falk integrates into the tight-knit community, he uncovers fractures and hidden tensions among Kim's friends and loved ones. Dark questions surface about Kim's past and the true nature of her relationships, including her connection to Falk’s closest friend and a woman he's developing feelings for. The investigation delves into whether Kim abandoned her child or met a more sinister fate, forcing Falk to confront long-buried truths in a community where everyone seems to have secrets.
