Synopsis

When high-flying London professional Leena Cotton suffers a spectacular workplace meltdown, her boss insists on a two-month sabbatical. Retreating to her grandmother Eileen's quaint Yorkshire village, Leena finds herself amidst a vibrant community, while Eileen, recently single and approaching eighty, yearns for a second chance at love beyond the village limits. A bold idea sparks: a two-month life swap. Eileen moves to Leena's trendy London flat, diving headfirst into dating apps and city life, much to the amusement and occasional horror of Leena's flatmates. Meanwhile, Leena takes charge of Eileen's cottage, garden, and a host of local projects, from fending off a property developer to organizing the annual village fete. Both women, stepping into unfamiliar shoes, discover that navigating a new life comes with unexpected challenges and heartwarming surprises, ultimately leading them to re-evaluate their priorities, embrace new possibilities, and perhaps even find love where they least expected it.
