Synopsis

In Mark Greaney's gripping third installment of the Gray Man series, Court Gentry, the enigmatic ex-CIA assassin, seeks an elusive peace after a brutal betrayal. Having been forced into a near-suicidal mission by his former agency, he attempts to disappear into the remote tranquility of the Amazon rainforest. However, his violent past relentlessly pursues him. A vengeful Russian crime lord tracks him down, shattering his fragile refuge and forcing him back into the shadows. Court's desperate search for sanctuary leads him to the only man he trusts implicitly, a former comrade named Eddie Gamboa. Yet, fate intervenes tragically as Court arrives too late—Eddie is dead, murdered by the ruthless Mexican drug cartel he fought valiantly to dismantle. Driven by a debt of honor and a simmering rage, Court finds himself unwillingly drawn into a brutal, no-holds-barred war where conventional allegiances mean nothing, and survival is the only creed. He must navigate a treacherous landscape of shifting loyalties and deadly enemies, fighting not for a cause, but simply to endure.
