Synopsis

In 'Arrow's Flight,' the highly anticipated second installment of Mercedes Lackey's beloved Arrows trilogy, Talia, formerly a raw trainee, has finally achieved the esteemed rank of full Herald of Valdemar. This new status, however, brings with it not only immense responsibility but also daunting challenges that test her burgeoning powers and moral compass. As she rides the kingdom's diverse lands, Talia is tasked with dispensing Herald's Justice, often finding herself in politically charged situations where her decisions have far-reaching consequences. Valdemar itself is a realm teetering on the brink, beset by unrest and shadowed by ancient evils. Talia must navigate treacherous intrigues, confront her own limitations, and master the unique gifts granted by her Companion, all while striving to protect the innocent and uphold the integrity of the Crown. Her journey is one of self-discovery, where the true weight of her role and the potential misuse of her powers could spell disaster for both herself and the kingdom she is sworn to serve.
