Synopsis

In a modern reimagining of the classic Greek myth, Persephone, the Goddess of Spring, holds her title in name only; her touch causes only death, not life. Seeking an unassuming existence, she moves to New Athens disguised as a mortal journalist. Her quiet life shatters when she enters a forbidden nightclub and finds herself drawn into a high-stakes card game with Hades, the enigmatic God of the Dead and king of a sprawling underworld gambling empire. Intrigued by her audacity, Hades offers a tempting, yet impossible, bet: Persephone must cultivate life within his desolate realm, or forever forfeit her freedom. This audacious challenge not only exposes Persephone's perceived failure as a goddess but also ignites an unexpected, captivating, and forbidden romance with Hades. As she grapples with the terms of their contract, struggling to bring forth growth in the Underworld, she finds herself falling deeply for the very god who holds her fate in his hands, transforming her understanding of love, power, and her own dormant potential.
