Synopsis

Alex Treven, a sharp and successful attorney, finds his meticulously ordered life shatter when his high-profile inventor client is brutally murdered, and he himself becomes the next target. With no one else to turn to, Alex is forced into an uneasy alliance with his estranged older brother, Ben, a shadowy operative deeply embedded in the labyrinthine world of the War on Terror. Their reunion is fraught with a decade of unspoken resentments, conflicting ideologies, and wildly different methods for survival. As they race against time, navigating a treacherous landscape of corporate espionage, government conspiracies, and international assassins, the brothers unearth a plot with global implications. Forced to confront not only external enemies but also the 'fault lines' within their own fractured relationship, they must learn to trust each other if they hope to expose the truth and escape the deadly web tightening around them. Eisler delivers a high-octane thriller exploring themes of family, loyalty, and the moral ambiguities of a post-9/11 world.
