A Stranger in the House

Karen and Tom Krupp appear to have the perfect life: a beautiful home, recent nuptials, and a comfortable existence in upstate New York. However, their idyllic world shatters when Tom returns home to find Karen mysteriously vanished, her car gone, and her essential belongings, including her purse, left behind. Shortly after, the police arrive, informing Tom that Karen has been in a severe car accident, speeding through a dangerous part of town. Admitted to the hospital with a concussion and memory loss regarding the incident, Karen struggles to recall what happened. The police, suspicious of her convenient amnesia, believe she was involved in something illicit. Back home, determined to recover, Karen senses a sinister shift; something has been moved, and a chilling feeling of intrusion pervades her house. As the police continue their relentless questioning, Karen realizes that in her own home, everyone holds secrets, and the truth behind her accident, and perhaps her very identity, is far more complex and dangerous than she could have imagined. Every spouse is a stranger, and every secret is worth killing for.
