In 1882, New York socialite Sharisse Hammond faces a devastating revelation: her betrothed, Joel Parrington, is secretly in love with her younger sister. To escape a humiliating and disastrous marriage and her father's wrath, Sharisse concocts a desperate plan – she will pose as a mail-order bride and flee to the Arizona Territory.
