Synopsis

Seven years after her harrowing 472-day abduction ordeal, Flora Dane is trying to reclaim a semblance of normal life. Once a carefree college student, she now grapples with the lingering trauma, assisted by an FBI victim advocate, while her family struggles to understand the transformed woman she has become. Her bedroom wall, adorned with photos of other missing girls, hints at a deeper obsession. When Boston Detective D.D. Warren is called to a scene involving a dead man and a bound woman – Flora – it marks the third such incident since Flora's return. D.D. must unravel the enigma: Is Flora a traumatized survivor, a dangerous vigilante, or both? Her intimate, terrifying knowledge of criminal psychology could be the key to finding a newly abducted college student. But when Flora herself vanishes once more, D.D. realizes a more cunning and malevolent predator is at large, determined to ensure Flora Dane will never escape again. The race against time begins, and D.D. Warren must find her before it's too late.
