Synopsis

In a secluded lilac wood, the last remaining unicorn lives in solitary peace, until a pair of hunters inadvertently reveals to her the terrifying truth: she may be the last of her kind. Driven by an unsettling premonition and a profound longing to discover what became of her kin, she ventures out from the safety of her enchanted forest. Her perilous quest leads her through a world both wondrous and cruel, where she is joined by the bumbling but earnest magician Schmendrick and the fiercely pragmatic Molly Grue. Together, they confront a myriad of challenges, from treacherous outlaws to the melancholy despair of human existence. The unicorn learns about the joys and sorrows of love, mortality, and sacrifice, shedding her immortal detachment to embrace the very essence of life. Her journey culminates in the desolate kingdom of King Haggard, whose malevolent Red Bull holds the dark secret behind the disappearance of all unicorns, forcing her to confront the creature that seeks to drive her kind to extinction and perhaps, in doing so, rediscover her true self.
