Synopsis

Anna Horn lives on the edge, constantly looking over her shoulder. Beyond the daily torment from bullies and the entitled patrons of her reservation's casino, a far more sinister presence stalks her: a nameless, disembodied entity straight out of ancient tribal myths, intent on consuming her. As strange and unsettling events escalate around the casino, Anna suspects that not all the horrors plaguing her community are rooted in the past. Girls from her tribe begin to vanish mysteriously, prompting a frantic search for answers. Feeling like an outsider, Anna becomes convinced that the key to understanding these disappearances lies hidden within the forgotten legends of her people. The crisis becomes deeply personal when her own little sister, Grace, also disappears. Driven by desperation, Anna embarks on a perilous quest, determined to bring Grace home, even if it means confronting both the ancient demons and the modern threats that threaten to unravel her world. "Sisters of the Lost Nation" is a gripping thriller and a mythological horror, exploring themes of belonging, the devastating cost of ignoring tradition, and the profound courage required to embrace one's true identity.
