A Deadly Education

Galadriel "El" Higgins is a pariah even among the monster-ridden halls of the Scholomance, a magical academy designed to kill its students. Gifted with terrifyingly destructive dark magic, El is destined to be a world-destroying sorceress, a fate she fiercely resists. Survival in the Scholomance is a daily struggle against deadly creatures, but El finds herself repeatedly, and unwillingly, saved by the infuriatingly heroic Orion Lake, the school's golden boy. While everyone else adores Orion, El resents his constant interference, believing she can survive on her own.
